April Sokalsky currently serves as the Coordinator of Education and Research at the American Society for Parenteral & Enteral Nutrition (ASPEN) since August 2022. Previously, April Sokalsky worked as a Research Assistant at FRESHFARM from January 2020 to June 2022, conducting research on the impact of school-based wellness interventions within the DC community. Additionally, experience includes roles as a FoodPrints Teaching Assistant and Volunteer Coordinator, where April Sokalsky taught elementary students cooking skills, and an internship at The National Institutes of Health, focusing on dietary records and qualitative data analysis. April Sokalsky also has experience working as a server at Silver Spoon Diner. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition Sciences from The George Washington University and a Master of Public Health in Clinical Nutrition/Nutritionist from Temple University College of Public Health, expected to be completed in May 2026.
