Anna Pagano is a seasoned professional in the field of addiction medicine and research, currently serving as the Senior Director of Science at the American Society of Addiction Medicine since July 2019. Prior to this role, Anna Pagano held various positions at UCSF, including Research Analyst since December 2014, and has extensive experience as a Research Scientist at the Pacific Institute for Research and Evaluation from July 2014 to June 2019. Anna Pagano's academic foundation includes postdoctoral fellowships at UC Berkeley School of Public Health and UCSF Department of Psychiatry, where significant research was conducted on substance use disorders and related public health issues. Anna Pagano's educational background encompasses a PhD in Anthropology from UC San Diego, an MA in Latin American Studies from the University of Florida, and a BA in Anthropology and Latin American Studies also from the University of Florida.
