Melody Wilson Loyola has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Melody started their career in 2000 as a Contract Manager at Accruent, where they negotiated software license agreements and tracked sales activities. In 2002, they joined Entrust as the Director of Leadership Training, overseeing a leadership development program in Russia. Melody then transitioned to the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) in 2009, where they held various roles including Licensing and Rights Coordinator, Licensing and Rights Manager, and Associate Director of Licensing. In their most recent role at ASCO, they served as the Director of ASCO Advantage and Director of ASCO Advantage, Licensing & Business Development. Throughout their tenure at ASCO, Melody contributed to the strategic direction and plan of the licensing group, managed relationships with medical education companies, and licensed valuable research and educational tools to doctors and patients worldwide.
Melody Wilson Loyola holds an Executive Certificate in NonProfit Management from Georgetown University. Melody also earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree in Law from the University of Houston Law Center. Melody'sacademic journey started with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Texas A&M University.
