Caroline Gould Bergner

Caroline Gould Bergner has extensive work experience in the field of policy and law. Caroline is currently the Director of Health Care Policy and Medicaid at The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) starting from March 2021. Prior to this, they worked at the American Psychological Association as a Legal and Policy Affairs Officer from November 2017 to June 2020, and as a Policy and Advocacy Fellow from May 2015 to November 2017. Caroline also gained experience as a Legislative Intern at Powers, Pyles, Sutter & Verville, P.C. in 2015 and as a Legal Intern at the U.S. Attorney's Office - Middle District of Florida in 2014. Caroline further expanded their knowledge through a Judicial Internship at Judge Vance Salter, Third District Court of Appeals in 2014. Caroline also worked as a Legislative Practice Assistant at Powers, Pyles, Sutter & Verville, P.C. from June 2008 to August 2012.

Caroline Gould Bergner's education history starts in 2004 when they enrolled at Duke University. Caroline completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Psychology and Neuroscience in 2008.

After finishing their undergraduate studies, Caroline attended Ave Maria School of Law from 2012 to 2014. During this time, they earned their Doctor of Law (JD) degree.

In terms of additional certifications, Caroline obtained the Virginia Bar certification from the Supreme Court of Virginia in April 2015.
