Michael Costello

Michael Costello is a seasoned talent acquisition leader with extensive experience in driving recruitment strategies across various organizations. Currently serving as Vice President of Talent Acquisition at American Tower since June 2022, Michael previously held the same position at SmartBear and served as Director of Talent Acquisition at American Tower from June 2013 to May 2021. Michael's expertise includes full lifecycle recruitment for executive roles, managing contingent labor programs, and transforming hiring metrics to enhance diversity and inclusion. Earlier roles include Director of Recruiting at Suffolk Construction, where strategic talent acquisition plans were executed, and a focus on campus recruiting was maintained. Michael began their career in sales before transitioning to collegiate athletics as an Assistant Basketball Coach at Boston University, where a BA in Sociology was earned.
