Vladimir Smolyanskiy

Vladimir Smolyanskiy is an experienced interpreter with a strong background in Russian, Ukrainian, and Brazilian Portuguese languages. Currently, Vladimir has held the role of Interpreter at ABC News since September 2017, while also serving as a Russian and Portuguese interpreter at Stratus Video since November 2015. Additional roles include Telephonic Interpreter positions at United Language Group and Optimal Phone Interpreters, as well as freelance work as a Legal Judicial Interpreter for the State of NY Unified Court System since September 2007. Vladimir's extensive freelance experience also features interpretations at the American Translators Association and thebigword. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Brooklyn College, completed in 2001, alongside an earlier education at Edward R Murrow High School.
