Emily Yanisko

Emily Yanisko has extensive experience in mathematics education, currently serving as the Regional Lead Clinical Faculty for Secondary Mathematics at City Teaching Alliance since August 2013, where supervision and professional development for faculty and coaches takes place across multiple cities. Previously held roles include Lead Clinical Faculty, focusing on teacher education for elementary and secondary mathematics, and various lecturing positions at institutions such as American University, Johns Hopkins University, The Catholic University of America, and the University of Maryland. Emily's background also includes serving as a Doctoral Fellow mentoring new mathematics teachers in a residency program and teaching mathematics courses at the high school level. Emily holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics Education from the University of Maryland, alongside a Master of Education in the same field and dual Bachelor's degrees in Computer Science and Music from Binghamton University.
