Craig Berry

Craig Berry is currently serving as the Director of Corporate Counsel - Rates & Regulatory at American Water, providing support for operating company rate cases and a national regulatory strategy since July 2023. Previously, Berry worked as a Senior Attorney for Philadelphia Gas Works, overseeing regulatory filings and managing legal matters for the Senior Vice President and General Counsel. Before that, Berry held the position of Attorney Advisor at the Public Service Commission of the District of Columbia, focusing on electric and natural gas distribution rate cases. Berry's professional background also includes contributions to the Energy Bar Association and the ABA, where summaries of energy-related legal cases were written. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor from American University Washington College of Law, a Master’s in Economics from George Mason University, and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Political Theory & Constitutional Democracy and History from Michigan State University.
