Izzy McLeod

Izzy McLeod is an experienced professional in community engagement and sustainability, currently serving as the Nature Neighbourhoods Project Officer for WWF Cymru, where support is provided to local community sector partners in Wales. Izzy also holds the position of Honorary Research Fellow at Amgueddfa Cymru, aiming to secure funding to explore queer ecology within natural history collections, particularly focusing on mycology. Previous roles include Operations and Development Officer at Community Energy Wales, Youth Advisory Council Member at Virgin Media O2, and Young People's Programme Maker for the Federation of Museums and Art Galleries of Wales. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Renewable Energy and Sustainable Technology from the University of South Wales and a Bachelor of Science in Physics with Astrophysics from Nottingham Trent University.
