George Skleres has a diverse work experience in the game industry. George started their career as a Game Designer and Flash Developer at Modo Sports, LLC in 2008. George then worked as a Flash Developer at Moxie Interactive in 2009. George also served as a Volunteer Coordinator at SIEGE Conference in 2009 and as a Conference Associate at GDC from 2005 to 2011.
In 2010, George joined Riot Games as a Game Engineer and Technical Game Designer, where they worked on various projects, including UI-related programming and localization overhaul of game UI for Asian languages. George stayed with Riot Games until 2016.
After leaving Riot Games, George became self-employed, working as a Game Designer and Programmer from 2016 to 2020. During this time, they founded Ghostly Bear Games in 2018, where they served as a Technical Game Designer until 2019.
In 2020, George joined Phoenix Labs as a Senior Technical Designer and worked there until mid-2021. After that, they took a break from the game industry and became a world traveler in 2021 until early 2022 while working for their own company, My Enjoyment :-).
Currently, George is working as the Lead Gameplay Designer at Amihan Entertainment, starting from 2022.
George Skleres attended Collins College from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Game Design.
