Evelyn Quezada

Director of Content at Amira Learning

Evelyn Quezada has a long and varied work experience. Evelyn started as a Program Assistant at Cambridge School Volunteers in 2013, then a Research Assistant at READS in the same year. In 2014, they became the Eastern Washington Regional Representative at the Office of U.S. Senator Patty Murray. In 2015, they joined Newsela as an Instructional Designer and Spanish Content Lead. Evelyn then moved up to Content Manager in 2019, and most recently became the Director of Learning Engineering in 2021. In 2022, they began working as the Director of Content at Amira Learning.

Evelyn Quezada received their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Rhetoric and Composition from Washington State University between 2009 and 2012. Evelyn then went on to earn their M.A.Ed. in Education Policy and Management from Harvard Graduate School of Education between 2013 and 2014.
