Mike Nielson

Mike Nielson, CTSM has extensive experience in event management. Mike is currently working at AMN Healthcare as an Events Lead. Prior to this, they were the Senior Manager of Corporate Events at RealPage, Inc. where they helped increase efficiency and revenue through innovative software solutions. Before that, Mike worked at TransCore as a Trade Show/Event Manager where they managed and executed trade shows and special events for multiple business segments. Mike started their career at VGS Marketing Group as the Director of Events, where they managed all programs and systems in the startup event planning division.

Mike Nielson, CTSM, holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Restaurant, Hotel and Institutional Management from Texas Tech University, completed in 1987. In addition, they obtained the certification of Certified Trade Show Marketer (CTSM) from Northern Illinois University Outreach in 2014. Furthermore, they hold the Lead to Exceed certification from RealPage, Inc., which was obtained in 2022.
