Pavan Handa

Pavan Handa has a strong background in business development, strategic planning, and alliance management within the pharmaceutical industry. Starting in 1991, they held various positions at Enzon Pharmaceuticals, where they negotiated and managed multiple business deals and developed marketing strategies for innovative therapies. Pavan then worked at Healthcare Business Associates as a Managing Director, formulating global strategic business options for pharmaceutical clients. From 1997 to 2001, they served as Senior Vice President at Pharmacologics LLC, where they built an investment opportunity pipeline and evaluated potential drug compounds. Pavan later joined Noven Pharmaceuticals, Inc. as Vice President of Business Development and Alliance Management, expanding their product pipeline through strategic partnerships before leading the sale of Noven to Hisamitsu. At Antares Pharma, Inc., they served as Senior Vice President of Business Development, diversifying their partnership base and entering global licensing deals. Most recently, Pavan has been the Executive Vice President and Chief Business Officer at Kashiv Pharma, where they have built a clinical-stage portfolio of novel therapeutics and licensed a drug to Amneal Pharmaceuticals. Pavan is currently the Senior Vice President of Specialty Portfolio Management at Amneal Pharmaceuticals.

Pavan Handa holds an MBA degree in Marketing and Finance from the University of Cincinnati. Pavan also earned a BA Honors degree in Economics and Mathematics from Delhi University. In addition to their degrees, they obtained certifications in various fields such as Biotechnology, Strategic Management of Intellectual Property from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management in 2005, Program on Negotiation from Harvard Law School Executive Education in 2000, and Advances in Drug Delivery Technologies from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1992.
