Nicholas Hutchinson

Nicholas Hutchinson started their work experience in 1992 as an MM1/SS (ELT) in the United States Navy, serving until 1998. Nicholas then worked at Silgan Containers as a Production Supervisor from 1999 to 2001 and as a Quality Manager from 2001 to 2002. From 2006 to 2013, Nicholas worked as a Grad Student at The Ohio State University. Nicholas joined Materion Corporation in 2012, where they served as an R&D Process Engineer from 2012 to 2015 and as a Senior R&D Engineer from 2015 to 2018. Nicholas then joined Eutectix in 2018 as the Director of Research and Development and later became the Site Manager until 2021. Currently, they are the Chief Operating Officer and VP of Material Science and Manufacturing at Amorphology, Inc, starting in 2021.

Nicholas Hutchinson earned their BA in Philosophy and Psychology from The University of Kansas from 1986 to 1992. Following this, they pursued a BS in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering at California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, completing their degree between 2002 and 2006. Lastly, Hutchinson obtained their PhD in Materials Science and Engineering at The Ohio State University from 2006 to 2013.
