Sara-Anne Lee has a diverse work experience. Sara-Anne began their career in 2008 as an Educational Intern at the Institute of Complex Engineering Systems. In 2010, they held roles as a Board Member at Pittsburgh Shakespeare in the Parks, an Intern at Upstart Crow, a Managing Editor at Carnegie Mellon University Press, and a Technical Editor at 5 AM Poetry Magazine. In 2013, they were an Adjunct Faculty at Cuyahoga Community College and a Technical Writer at Alphaport, Inc. Since 2016, they have been employed at AmpliFund, where they have held positions as Senior Product Owner, Product Owner, Senior Product Designer / Senior Technical Writer, and Product Designer / Senior Technical Writer. In this last role, they are responsible for writing and designing all software documentation and user guides for a modular SaaS product, the support site on Zendesk, and security policy documents. Sara-Anne also provides requirements and wireframes for UI/UX design and functionality, and leads Section 508 compliance and web accessibility standards for the product.

Sara-Anne Lee obtained their High School Diploma from Iolani School in 2005. Sara-Anne then went on to Carnegie Mellon University, where they earned a BA and MA in Professional Writing and Creative Writing in 2010. In 2015, they obtained a Foundations of UX: Content Strategy certification from lynda.com. In 2020, they obtained a Certified SAFe 5 Scrum Master certification from Scaled Agile Inc. In 2021, they obtained a Leading SAFe Course (5.1) certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. and a Certified SAFe 5 Product Owner/Product Manager certification from Scaled Agile Framework Certification Training. In June 2022, they obtained a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification from the Scrum Alliance.
