Matt Bloom has a diverse work experience. Matt began their career in 2011 as the CEO and Cofounder of a Stealth Startup. From 2014 to 2018, they worked at National Grid as a Venture Capital and Corporate Strategy Analyst. In 2018, they joined the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) as a Consultant focusing on Solar & Distributed Energy Topics in SBIR/STTR. Most recently, they have been working at AmpUp since 2020, holding the roles of Director of Partnerships and Business Development Manager.

Matt Bloom holds a Master's Degree from Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies and a Bachelor's Degree from Quinnipiac University in Computer Information Systems. In addition, they have obtained certifications from Venture University and Techstars, including the Venture Capital & Private Equity Masterclass (2020) and the Venture Deals VC Course (2018).
