André Ahlgren

André Ahlgren is AMRA’s Director of Imaging, responsible for the technical aspects of MRI imaging and quantification. In this role, he ensures that AMRA’s MRI protocols can be used on a wide array of platforms, and that the measurements produced by AMRA’s algorithms are validated and reliable. The Imaging department is also part of AMRA’s research and development efforts.

André is an MRI physicist with over 10 years of experience in MRI method development, research and applications. He holds a PhD in MRI Physics from Lund University in Sweden, where he focused on methodological improvements in quantitative brain imaging. Before joining AMRA he was working with method development in CEST-MRI as a postdoctoral researcher at CMIV in Linköping.
