Mikael Forsgren

Mikael Forsgren has extensive experience in the fields of medical imaging, liver disease, and scientific research. Mikael has worked in various roles, including Senior Scientist at AMRA Medical, Senior Applications Engineer at Wolfram MathCore, and Research Assistant/Engineer at Landstinget i Östergötland. Additionally, they have served as an Adjunct Associate Professor at Linköping University, specializing in medical image science and radiography. Mikael's work has focused on assessing liver function, developing new biomarkers, and conducting studies related to chronic liver diseases such as NAFLD/NASH.

Mikael Forsgren completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Medical Science with a focus on Magnetic Resonance Physics and Systems Biology at Linköping University from 2013 to 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Engineering Biotechnology from the same university between 2006 and 2011. Mikael has also received additional certifications in Human Subjects Research and as a Certified Wolfram Instructor.
