Niamh Murphy

Niamh Murphy has over 15 years of experience in various roles within the pharmaceutical industry. Niamh is currently working as an Associate Director at Amryt Pharma, where they oversee manufacturing sciences and analytical technologies. Prior to this, they held senior management positions at Amgen and Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals, where they were responsible for process development, tech transfer, and manufacturing support. Niamh also worked at Pfizer as an MSAT Process Development Scientist, focusing on the scale-up of drug substance reactions and purification models. Niamh began their career as a Quality Assurance Analyst at BD Medical and later transitioned to a Quality Control Analyst role at Arrow Pharmaceuticals. Niamh holds a PhD in Synthetic Organic Chemistry from University College Dublin, where they specialized in carbohydrate synthesis.

Niamh Murphy attended Muckross Park College from 1996 to 2002. In 2002, they enrolled in University College Dublin and earned a BSc Hons degree in Chemistry, which they completed in 2006. In 2017, they furthered their education by obtaining an Advanced Diploma in Project Management from Dublin Business School.
