National Policy Action Team Coordinator

Job description

PURPOSE- The "why" – the core reason or motivation behind the role

To create accessible, short-term opportunities for applying advocacy knowledge via Policy Action Teams.

DOMAIN- Your territory – the specific area or subject you have control and autonomy over.

  • 2-3 short-term, policy-driven and targeted Policy Action Team projects per cycle, drawing on the policy from each cycle
  • Recruitment of Policy Action Teams in conjunction with the National Policy Officer and National Policy Secretary

ACCOUNTABILITY- Your responsibilities – the actions and outcomes you're answerable for

.- Organisation of internal and external consultation for Policy Action Teams

  • Supervising and supporting PATs to undertake their project.
  • Liaising with NPO and NPS to organise internal and external consultation for Policy Action Teams.
  • Continuing to innovate within this fresh and exciting role.
