Gppa Mike Dennin

Mike Dennin has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Mike is currently serving as the Sr. Director of Cybersecurity Engineering and Architecture at Amscot Financial since September 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Syniverse Technologies, where they held various positions including Director of Security Architecture and Engineering. In their role, they were responsible for firewall auditing, policy review, reporting and metrics, network, server and mobile device standards, and endpoint security, among other duties. Before Syniverse Technologies, they served as the Manager of Information Services at the Diocese of St. Petersburg, where they oversaw the planning, budgeting, installation, training, programming, and protection of information systems supporting 83 clients. Earlier in their career, they worked as the Data Processing Manager at the United Way of Pinellas County. In this role, they were responsible for all aspects of the data processing department and worked closely with upper management to provide decision-making information aligned with the organization's goals.

Mike Dennin has an Associate of Arts degree in Business Programming from St. Petersburg College. In addition to their degree, they have obtained two certifications: GIAC Certified Perimeter Protection Analyst (GPPA) from GIAC in January 2013 and GIAC - Security Essentials (GSEC) from GIAC in October 2011.
