Dennis Knol

Dennis Knol started their career as a Chef at Mossel & Gin from July 2016 to September 2017. In 2019, they worked as a Trainee Backend Developer (Django) at Qollab from February to June, and then as a Data Consultant at Heffiq BV in August and September. In 2020, they served as a Graduate Research Intern at Dexter Energy Services, where they researched and implemented methods to improve forecasting accuracy using deep neural networks and satellite imagery. Currently, Dennis is working as a Data Science Consultant at Amsterdam Data Collective, specializing in advanced statistical techniques, machine learning, and big data.

Dennis Knol began their education journey at Vossius Gymnasium where they obtained their Gymnasium degree in Nature & Science from 2006 to 2013. Dennis then enrolled at the University of Amsterdam and completed their Bachelor of Science in Econometrics & Operational Research from 2014 to 2018.

In 2018, Dennis participated in the Global Exchange Programme at Nanyang Technological University Singapore for a brief period. Following this, they continued their education at the University of Amsterdam and achieved a Master of Science degree in Computational Science from 2018 to 2020.

Apart from their formal education, Dennis Knol also obtained an additional certification as an Advanced Open Water Diver from PADI in July 2014.
