Nadeesha Gunaratne

Nadeesha Gunaratne, Ph.D., currently serves as a Sensory and Consumer Product Research Scientist at Amway since May 2022. Previously, Nadeesha worked as a Sensory Scientist at Mérieux NutriSciences - North America, where expertise in sensory research and project management was demonstrated through coordination of research studies for various clients in the plant-based food sector. Nadeesha gained comprehensive knowledge in food research and sensory studies during doctoral studies at the University of Melbourne, evidenced by multiple conference presentations and peer-reviewed publications. Nadeesha also has experience as an Academic Tutor, Project Management Assistant, and Laboratory Demonstrator. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Food Science (Sensory Science) from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor's in Food Science and Technology from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, complemented by a diploma in Business and Management.
