John Tukianen

John Tukianen has a diverse range of work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. John has worked at Amylyx Pharmaceuticals since 2023 in the role of Lead Oligonucleotide Process Development Engineer and Associate Director for CMC and Technical Services. Prior to that, they worked at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals from 2018 to 2023, where they held roles such as Principal Engineer and Senior Engineer in Manufacturing Technical Services. Before Alnylam, they worked at Biogen from 2013 to 2018, where they held various engineering roles in Global Manufacturing Sciences. Additionally, they have prior internship experience at Neo-Advent Technologies, LLC in drug formulation R&D and R&D.

John Tukianen graduated from the University of Massachusetts Lowell in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering. John also obtained additional certifications including Root Cause Analysis and Incident Investigation from Conger & Elsea, Inc in 2015, Fundamentals of Quality Technical Writing from Absolute Consulting, Inc. in 2015, and Fundamentals of Biomanufacturing from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 2014.
