Martin Guyot

Martin Guyot's work experience spans over several years in various roles within the human resources field. Martin is currently the Head of Human Resources EMEA at Amylyx Pharmaceuticals, a position they started in November 2021. Prior to this, Martin worked as a People, Organisation & Culture Consultant at sPOC - HR Consulting starting in July 2021.

Before their current roles, Martin held leadership positions at AveXis, Inc., where they served as the VP of Human Resources EMEA from October 2018 to June 2021. Martin also worked as an HR Consultant at AveXis, Inc. from May 2018 to September 2018.

Martin has considerable experience in the pharmaceutical industry, having also worked as the VP of Human Resources Europe at InterMune from January 2012 to December 2015 and as a Human Resources Associate Director at Alexion Pharma International from February 2009 to January 2012.

Prior to their pharmaceutical industry experience, Martin worked in various human resources roles at companies such as Serono, where they served as the Human Resources Director from October 1998 to April 2006, and Medtronic Spine & Biologics, where they were a Manufacturing and Facility Manager from May 2006 to December 2008.

Martin's early career includes roles at Médecins sans frontières, where they served as a Human Resources Manager from October 1995 to October 1998 and as a Project Manager from October 1992 to October 1995.

In addition to their corporate positions, Martin has also held board membership at Felco Motion SA / Flisch Management Holding SA from July 2016 to December 2018 and served as the Deputy CEO / Directeur at Flisch Management Holding SA from January 2016 to September 2018.

Martin Guyot completed their MSc in Microtechnology at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) from 1984 to 1989. Martin also obtained a Certificate in Human Resources from the University of Geneva in 2004-2005. In 2014, they attended INSEAD for a program on Business Strategy for Human Resource Leaders, and in 2017, they completed a program on Leading the Family Business at IMD.
