Ines Ribeiro, PhD has a diverse work experience. Ines began their career in 2009 as a Trainee in Clinical Chemistry at Hospital São João. In 2010, they were a Trainee in Microbiology at Hospital São João and a Trainee in Immunohematology at Centro Hospitalar Vila Nova de Gaia/ Espinho E. P. E. In 2011, they were a Trainee in Molecular Genetics at Biomedicum Helsinki, a Trainee in Clinical Virology at HUSLAB Laboratory, and a Trainee in Clinical Chemistry and Hematology at VITA Laboratory. In 2012, they were a Research Fellow at IPATIMUP and a Trainee Phlebotomist at Laboratório Análises Clínicas Dra Isabel Maria Paquim Cerejeira, Lda. From 2015 to 2020, they were a PhD student at i3S - Instituto de Investigação e Inovação em Saúde. Ines currently works as a Researcher at Amyris.
Ines Ribeiro, PhD completed a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Biomedicine from Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade do Porto in 2020. Prior to this, they completed a Master's degree in Molecular Medicine and Oncology from the same school in 2015. In 2011, they participated in the Erasmus Programme at Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, completing the 4th year of their BSc. in Biomedical Laboratory Sciences. In 2007, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Laboratory Sciences (Análises Clínicas e Saúde Pública) from Escola Superior de Saúde, Politécnico do Porto.
