Jaime E. Zlamal, PhD has extensive work experience in the field of molecular microbiology. In 2021, they began working as the Manager of Fermentation at Amyris. Prior to this, they were a Senior Scientist in the Research and Development department at Metabiomics (2020). From 2017 to 2020, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Sanford Burnham Prebys Medical Discovery Institute. In 2016, they were the QA/QC Lab Director and Brewer at Speakeasy Ales & Lagers. Jaime E. Zlamal, PhD obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Central Michigan University between 2005 and 2009. Jaime E. then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy in Cell and Molecular Biology from both San Diego State University and UC San Diego between 2010 and 2016.
