Franco Leung

Franco Leung has extensive work experience in the semiconductor industry. Franco began their career at Nitidus Technology Inc. as a Taxonomy Architect in 1999. In 2000, they joined Genesis Microchip Inc. as the Director of Applications Engineering, where they managed a team responsible for chip validation, evaluation kit development, and worldwide technical support. Franco also played a key role in product requirement definition and program management. In 2006, Leung joined ViXS Systems Inc. as the Director of Field Applications Engineering, leading a team of regional FAEs and providing customer technical support for media processor SoC products. From 2009 to 2011, Leung worked at Cignias Inc. as the Director of Product Development, focusing on the development of media content topology for smartphone to media station communication. Franco defined and designed smartphone apps and media SoC software applications. Beginning in 2011, Leung became the Director of Field Applications Engineering at Zenverge Inc., which was later acquired by Freescale Semiconductors. In this role, they managed a team of support engineers and was responsible for defining EVK and SDK features for audio/video transcode streaming applications. Since 2013, Leung has been working at Analogix Semiconductor Inc. as a Senior Principal Engineer.

Franco Leung has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Oklahoma State University.
