Lieven Janssens

Lieven Janssens has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Lieven started their career at Sigma-Aldrich as a Sales & Marketing manager in 1991 and then joined Kaneka Pharma Europe N.V., where they held various positions such as Business Development Manager, Senior Manager of Business Development & Marketing, and Vice President. In 2004, they became the General Manager of Fine Chemicals and Health Food at Kaneka Pharma Europe N.V. Lieven later joined Eurogentec in 2010 and served as Chief Integration Officer, Chief Business Officer, Board Member, and Executive Vice President. In 2019, they were appointed as President/CEO of Eurogentec. In addition to their roles at Eurogentec, they were also a Board Member at essenscia and Thymolux SA. Lieven became the President of AnaSpec and EGT NA in 2017 while serving as a Board Member for both companies starting in 2016.

Lieven Janssens completed their education in a chronological sequence. Lieven started their academic journey in 1980 and graduated with a Master's degree in Bio-engineering from Ghent University in 1985.
