Title: Mid-level Geotechnical / Coastal Engineer
Location: San Francisco, CA
Job Type: Regular Full-time
What’s the Opportunity?
Anchor QEA is seeking a full-time, mid-level geotechnical / coastal engineer with 5 to 10+ years of experience with a strong background in developing and overseeing geotechnical engineering studies and designs, particularly in the coastal and marine environments. While the position will be based in California, our geotechnical and coastal engineering teams regularly support projects throughout the U.S.
The selected candidate will have a B.S. (M.S. preferred) degree in geotechnical, civil or coastal engineering and a demonstrated proficiency in performing high-quality project work, including oversight of geotechnical field investigation programs (borings, CPTs, etc.), completing and overseeing technical analyses (particularly when dealing with nearshore/offshore sediments), and preparing technical documents (reports, project specifications).
