Dee Jones

Dee Jones has a long and varied work experience. In 1998, they began their career at Calyx Group as a Lead Generation Manager, where they were responsible for promotion of Calyx Services, lead generation, cold calling, and appointment setting with prospective clients. Dee also produced weekly activity and statistic reports for Executive Management Teams and managed a team of eight Lead Generators. In 2004, they joined Google in California as an Executive Assistant/PM to David Fischer, Vice President, Global Online Sales & Operations. Dee then became a Project Assistant to John Herlihy, Vice President, Online Sales, EMEA, where they were responsible for managing key projects and deliverables for Vice President of Online Sales & Operations, EMEA. Dee also oversaw completion of all project deliverables across the Senior Mgt Team and managed and grew Corporate Social Responsibility activites for Google Ireland. Dee then became an Executive Assistant to John Herlihy, Vice President, Online Sales, EMEA, where they organised two of Google's European Sales Conferences, one in Dublin (350 attendees) and the other in Berlin (1000 attendees). Dee also partnered with multiple groups both within EMEA and across the globe to ensure timely delivery of key projects and interfaced with high level executives both internally and externally. In 2009, they joined Facebook as a Business Project Manager - Office of the Chief Operating Officer, Executive Assistant to Sheryl Sandberg, Chief Operating Officer, Event Marketing Manager, Executive Assistant to David Fischer, Vice President, Advertising and Global Operations, and Executive Assistant to Elliot Schrage, Vice President, Global Comms, Marketing & Public Policy. In 2021, they moved to a Private Family Office as Head Of Operations. Currently, they are Chief Of Staff at &Open, a global gifting platform that thoughtfully sources and sends gifts at scale on behalf of brands like Airbnb, Spotify and Intercom.

Dee Jones completed an MSc in Programme and Project Management from the University of Limerick in 2013. In 2017, they obtained a Licentiate in Acupuncture from The College of Medical Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, in the field of Acupuncture. In 2019, they received a 200hr Yoga Teacher Training from The Academy at the Cliffs of Moher Retreat, in the field of Yoga Teacher Training/Yoga Therapy. Dee Jones is also currently enrolled in University College Dublin.
