Pyrs Carvolth

Pyrs Carvolth currently serves as a Partner at Andreessen Horowitz in the a16z crypto division since April 2022, and is also a member of The Seed Project, an angel platform for funding innovative seed-stage companies, since January 2020. Pyrs previously held the position of Director of Business Development at DraftKings Inc. from 2021 to April 2022, focusing on web3 initiatives, including the development of an NFT Marketplace. Prior to this, Pyrs was a Senior Manager of Business Development at TuneIn from 2017 to 2021 and worked as an Account Executive at LinkedIn in 2017. Pyrs began a career in finance at Jefferies from 2013 to 2017, holding roles in Equity Derivatives Sales & Trading and Equity Sales, and earlier worked at Bloomberg LP as a Fixed Income Advanced Specialist. Pyrs holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University.
