Prasad Bandreddi, PhD

Prasad Bandreddi, PhD has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several companies. Beginning in 1987, they served as the Director of the University Data Center and Professor of Computer Science at the University of Hyderabad, where they co-created the Artificial Intelligent Laboratory and led a team of faculty members and technical staff.

In 1994, they joined Dow Jones as a Development Manager and Lead Architect, overseeing the architecture, design, and development of systems for real-time feed collection, distribution, and FX Trading. Prasad also played a crucial role in building trading systems for interest rate swaps and electronic brokering.

From 1999 to 2005, Prasad Bandreddi worked as the Vice President of Engineering at Commerce One/Exterprise. Prasad was part of the Exterprise Executive Team and contributed to the development of the ActiveMarket platform, a business process management and service interoperability platform for e-commerce applications.

Prasad then worked at Texas Health and Human Services as the Chief Infrastructure Architect, where they defined and designed Utility Computing Environments and led the implementation of PeopleSoft in collaboration with Northrop Grumman. Prasad Bandreddi also held positions at MSCI Inc., where they served as the Executive Director of Applications Development, and at the Texas Health and Human Services Commission as the Director of Social Services Applications Development.

In 2012, they joined Dell as a Senior Cloud Solutions Architect, responsible for creating the architecture and engineering design of their public cloud platform. Prasad also implemented VMware vCloud capacity solutions for paid clients across multiple countries.

Prasad Bandreddi then transitioned to IBM in 2014, where they held the role of Director of Engineering and Chief Architect. Prasad played a key role in developing the framework for the Intelligent IT Operations Console and led a team of 75 engineers in building features such as data center visibility, cognitive recommendations, and automated remediation.

Most recently, Prasad Bandreddi joined Andromeda 360, Inc. in 2021 as the Head of Engineering and Vice President. In this role, they lead a team of software, QA, DevOps, data scientists, and ML engineers to create and implement the A360 AI product. Prasad ensures conformance to the product's architecture, requirements, and road plan through collaboration with other teams.

Throughout their career, Prasad Bandreddi has demonstrated expertise in AI, expert systems, IT operations, cloud solutions, and strategic development. Their accomplishments include creating design specifications, implementing innovative systems, and driving architectural changes.

Prasad Bandreddi, PhD, received their education in the field of Computer Science. Prasad first pursued a Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, from 1976 to 1980. In 1985, they attended the MIT Sloan School of Management for a post-doctoral program in Computer Science with a specialization in Intelligent Information Systems, which they completed in 1987.
