Dana Steffer RN, MSN, MBHA

Dana Steffer has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Dana is currently employed at Angel Staffing as the Chief Nursing Officer since May 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Nurse Executive at Medical Center Southeast Texas from May 2020 to March 2022.

Before their role at Medical Center Southeast Texas, Dana worked at Quorum Health Resources as a Project Chief Nursing Officer from October 2018 to May 2020. Dana also held the same position at Community Health Systems from July 2017 to May 2020. In addition to their role as a Project Chief Nursing Officer at Community Health Systems, Dana also served as the Senior Director of Conversions from January 2014 to May 2020 and as the Director of Conversion/Transition and Project Management Support from May 2007 to May 2020.

Prior to these positions, Dana worked as a Consultant at CHS from May 2007 to December 2008. Dana also served as the Vice President of Nursing at Texas Health Resources from 2004 to 2006 and as the Chief Nursing Officer at Community Health Systems from 2000 to 2004.

Throughout their career, Dana has demonstrated their expertise in nursing leadership, project management, staff development, and adherence to healthcare regulations and standards. Dana is skilled in managing complex projects and maintaining a patient-centered approach in healthcare settings.

Dana Steffer RN, MSN, MBHA has a comprehensive education history. In 1996, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from The University of Texas at El Paso. Following this, from 1998 to 1999, they pursued a Masters Degree in Nursing with a focus on Nursing Administration and Community Health from the same institution.

Continuing their academic journey, Dana Steffer enrolled at Baker College Center for Graduate Studies in 2007 and completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Healthcare Administration in 2008.

Through their educational experiences, Dana Steffer has developed a solid foundation in nursing and healthcare administration, which supports their qualifications and expertise in the field.
