Scott Simpson

Scott Simpson is the Head of Data Privacy at Anglo American, and the Founder of The Security Circle. At The Security Circle, Scott's team provides information security, data compliance, cyber-resilience, and data privacy services to various organizations. Scott has also held positions as Head of Data Protection Assurance at Phoenix Group, Data Privacy Subject Matter Expert at the Department of Health and Social Care, Data Protection Officer at Sovos, and Group Data Protection Officer at Genius Sports. Additionally, Scott served as the Head of Public Service Procurement at Bowater Holographics Limited. Scott attended Glasgow Academy from 1974 to 1986.
