Alberto 'Al' Lucini has a long and varied career in the IT and political worlds. Alberto 'Al' began their career in 2004 as a Project Manager at American Systems. In 2007, they became the Executive Assistant to the Associate Dean at George Washington University. In 2008, they served as the Campaign Manager for Obama for America. From 2009-2016, they worked for ANSER as a Project Manager. Alberto 'Al' then moved to Vision Technologies as the Federal IT Client Relations Manager from 2016-2017. From 2017-2019, they worked for the Navy Program Executive Office for Enterprise Information Systems as the Cloud Advisor to the Technical Director. In this role, they provided IT policy and technical advice to the Program Executive Office for Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS) and helped ensure the technical integration and operation of the Navy's entire business IT portfolio. In 2019, they moved to NOAA: National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration as the Executive Cloud Advisor. Currently, they are the Cloud Migration Manager at Anika Systems.

Alberto 'Al' Lucini has a long and varied educational background. In 2002, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Economics from Penn State University. In 2008, they earned an M.A. in International Affairs from The George Washington University. In 2013, they earned a Certificate in Global Finance from Thunderbird School of Global Management. In addition, they have obtained a number of certifications from various institutions, including CompTIA, Amazon Web Services, PMI - Orange County Chapter, Defense Acquisition University, and Defense Institute of Security Cooperation Studies.
