Julie Torok has over 30 years of work experience in marketing and brand management. Julie is currently working as the Marketing Director at Annam Group since 2019. Prior to that, they served as the General Manager of Marketing & Product Development at Clean Seas Seafood Limited from 2016 to 2019, where they achieved a significant sales increase in the Luxury Seafood Category. Julie also worked as the Head of Marketing & Category at Annam Group from 2012 to 2016, where they were responsible for importing and distributing international brands. Julie has also held senior marketing positions at Agthia Group PJSC, HJ Heinz, National Foods Limited, Lion, Nestle Australia, Pacific Brands Food Group, and Simplot Australia Pty Ltd. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in brand strategy, market penetration, new market entry, and profit growth.
Julie Torok completed their Bachelor of Commerce degree with a focus on Marketing & Economics at Deakin University. Julie then pursued further education at the Australian Graduate School of Enterprise at Swinburne, where they obtained an MBA in Business Strategy from 2004 to 2006.
