Joe Percivall

Joe Percivall has worked in the technology industry since 2014. Joe began their career at 42six Solutions as a Software Engineer, where they worked on the DoDIIS App Engine (DAE). In 2015, they joined Onyara as a Software Engineer and Hortonworks as a Software Engineer, where they worked on Hortonworks DataFlow (HDF). In 2017, they joined Dragos, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer and was later promoted to Principal Software Engineer, Midpoint Product Squad Lead, and Platform Lead. In 2018, they began volunteering as a Technical Advisor and Dev Lead at Global Emancipation Network. In 2021, they joined Anno.Ai as Chief Engineer and VP of Engineering. Additionally, they have been a Committer and PMC member for Apache NiFi since 2015.

Joe Percivall obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Engineering from the University of Maryland between 2010 and 2014. In 2017, they completed a Data Science and Data Engineering Bootcamp at Data Science Dojo. Joe also holds certifications from Oracle, (ISC)², and Scrum Alliance, including an Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate (obtained in 2010), an Associate of (ISC)² having passed the CISSP (obtained in 2015), and a CSM (Certified ScrumMaster) (obtained in 2012).
