Alex is a contributor to several diverse biotechnologies, and in particular is a co-inventor of single-molecule proteomics technologies. He has broad experience in bioinformatics, including image analysis, large-scale data analysis & statistics, modeling & simulation, graph theory, and pipeline engineering. Complementary to bioinformatics, Alex has bench experience in stem cell science as well as molecular biology. He completed both his undergraduate degree in mathematics and his PhD in cell and molecular biology at The University of Texas at Austin.
