Katie Marcus Reker

Katie Marcus Reker is a seasoned marketing professional with extensive experience in content strategy and development. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Content Marketing at AnswerLab since March 2018, Katie leads the content marketing function and oversees social media and email marketing initiatives. Previous roles at AnswerLab include Content Marketing Manager and Marketing Coordinator, where Katie supported various marketing initiatives. Before AnswerLab, Katie worked as Development and Communications Coordinator at the Community School of Music and Arts and Marketing and Development Coordinator at Acterra, managing marketing efforts and increasing online engagement. Additional consulting experience was gained through Marcus Reker Consulting, providing services to nonprofit clients, and earlier roles at Youth Philanthropy Connect and the National Center for Family Philanthropy contributed to significant event management and communication strategies. Katie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Media Studies from Scripps College and Theatre from Pomona College, complemented by a Certificate in Arts Administration from the University of Edinburgh Business School.
