The Role

The primary focus of this role is Business Development with some minor Account Management in NSW, both through direct channels and partner engagement.

You will build relationships with prospects and existing contacts to grow a strong sales pipeline to then win opportunities for professional services projects.

With partners such as Microsoft and direct through your existing/new networks and contacts, you will be developing new business by generating and actioning leads, creating opportunities and successfully closing sales. You will be supported by pre-sales and our Practice Managers.

You will sell across all Antares practices in NSW and will be assigned targets for each practice.

About you

  • Proven NSW market knowledge and an existing customer base/relationships with IT & business decision makers

  • 3+ years’ experience in Microsoft professional services Business Development that aligns to one or more of our Practices (Modern Work, App Dev or Data & AI)

  • Track record of meeting business development targets

  • A proven process for business development and account management to manage a customer from lead to sale

  • Adequate technical acumen to understand a non-technical problem and link a technical solution to that problem, based on the solutions we provide

  • Strong relationship building and management skills

  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills

  • Ability to work independently, often without direction or with an unclear problem statement

  • Willingness to learn and grow
