John Nicols

John Nicols is an experienced executive with a distinguished career in strategic leadership and advisory roles within high-profile companies in the chemical and bioprocessing industries. Currently serving as a Strategic Advisor at Codexis, Inc. and holding the title of President & CEO, Nicols also chairs the Board of Directors at both Antheia, Inc. and Scientific Bioprocessing (sbi). Additionally, Nicols leads the Solve ME/CFS Initiative as Chair of the Board of Directors and participates as a Board Member at SCIENTIFIC INDUSTRIES, INC. and a Strategic Advisor at Molecular Assemblies, Inc. Prior to these roles, Nicols spent over 22 years at Albemarle Corporation, culminating as Sr Vice President of Strategic Development & Catalysts. Academic credentials include an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management and a BS in Chemical Engineering from New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering. Nicols has also held positions on various boards, including the California Life Sciences Association and American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturers.
