We at Anthill, together with CCCIS, are looking for a Full-Stack Engineer who needs to be able to work with both internal and external customers to gather and understand requirements and work with other Software / Data Engineers, Product Managers, Data Scientists, and DevOps Engineers on the design and implementation details to achieve high-quality software. Our new colleague needs a passion for complex problems and enjoys the challenge of operating in sophisticated integrations, events, and data streaming architectures.

About the project:

Safekeep is a business unit that focuses on automating insurance claim subrogation for auto, workers compensation, property, and general liability claims.

• SafeKeep leverages data analysis and AI/Machine learning packaged into a smart workflow engine to:

• Identify claims with subrogation potential

• Minimize the impact of subrogation team turnover

• Decrease the administrative costs of subrogation

• Simplify and optimize cross-carrier interaction

If you are ready to take on the following responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain microfrontends/microservices leveraging cutting-edge frontend design methodologies and UX patterns to create low-latency, secure, and reusable software for our mobile and web-based UIs to provide immersive and elevated customer experiences

• Collaborate with Product Management and other stakeholders within Engineering (e.g. UX) to maintain a high bar for quality in a fast-paced, iterative environment.

• Build code that meets internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for a high-scale web environment. Maintain and advocate for these standards through code review.

• Develop features and improvements CCC Safekeep products in a secure, well-tested, and performant way. Ship small features and improvements with minimal guidance and support from other team members. Collaborate with the team on larger projects.

• Work with customers to understand, gather, and analyze their requirements and pain points and drive resolution of issues/bugs.

• Design, build, and maintain secure, and highly scalable Restful APIs leveraging cloud technologies and serverless to support our SaaS product offerings including web / mobile applications, integration with both internal and external services, and partners.

And you possess:

• Programming experience with Python
• Familiarity with HTML5, CSS, and one or more web frameworks (React, Vue, Angular, Node)
• 2+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems.
• 2+ years of experience in microservice development, building, and shipping Mobile, Desktop and/or Web Applications.
• 2+ years of experience in development of RESTful APIs
• Hands-on experience and advanced knowledge of AWS Services (i.e. IAM, Lambda, Step Functions, S3)
• Experience with performance and optimization problems and a demonstrated ability to both diagnose and prevent these problems
• Experience owning a feature from concept to production, including proposal, discussion, and execution.
• Self-motivated and self-managed with strong organizational skills.
