VR Content Coordinator at Antser

Callum Hurley has a diverse array of work experience in the virtual reality (VR) industry. Callum started their career as a VR Technician at Sandbox HQ, where they hosted HTC VIVE VR demos and promoted virtual reality for gaming and entertainment. Callum continued to work with VR technology at Oculus VR as a Brand Ambassador, where they were responsible for sales and demo setups. Callum then gained experience as a VR Technician and Attendant at Inter Pub Gaming LTD, running a West London-based VR Location-Based Experience (LBE) and providing technical support to users. At the same company, they later became a Bookings Manager, overseeing the daily operations of the VR LBE and implementing marketing strategies to increase sales.

In 2020, Callum joined Antser as a VR Technician and Administrator, where they provided technical support to clients and partners using VR content. Callum also managed, maintained, and repaired inventory of VR headsets, as well as maintained partner documents and contracts. Callum later advanced to the role of Operations Officer and VR Lead, managing and maintaining multiple platforms for VR and video content, adapting 360 content for 2D format, and overseeing inventory of Pico VR devices.

Callum's most recent role is with VR Game Spotlight, where they work as a Producer and Creator. In this position, they design the show format, contacts developers and publishers to showcase their games, and hosts and produces the show itself.

Throughout their career, Callum has demonstrated skills in VR content creation, technical support, inventory management, and marketing. Their experience spans various aspects of the VR industry, from sales and operations to production and creative design.

Callum Hurley pursued their education starting in 2010 at Sandwich Technology School, where they obtained a Diploma in Creative and Media between 2010 and 2012. Following this, they pursued further studies at the same institution and acquired an A-Level in Media Studies, Film Studies, and Drama Studies from 2012 to 2013. In 2014, Callum enrolled at the University of West London, where they completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Musical Theatre in 2017.
