Jerel Culliss

Jerel Culliss is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in both software development and electrical engineering. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Anvil Secure since October 2020, Jerel also co-founded Team CoFH in January 2012, where responsibilities include leading the development of popular Minecraft mods such as Thermal Expansion and Redstone Arsenal. Prior roles include Director of Engineering and Senior Security Consultant at IOActive, Inc., and Post-Master's Research Associate at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Jerel's research background includes work as a Research Scientist and Engineer at Idaho National Laboratory, along with an internship at ABB Switzerland Ltd. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering focusing on Power Systems from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and dual degrees in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech.
