Florin Hillebrand

Florin Hillebrand has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Florin started their career in 2008 at Topkom GmbH as a Telephone Engineer, where they installed and maintained telephone systems and developed a web application for personalized answering machines. In 2009, they worked as a Web Developer at Subsolutions.

From 2010 to 2013, they worked as a Quality Assurance Engineer at StreamUnlimited, where they played a key role in testing embedded audio streaming hardware and software. Florin also developed automated tests and implemented solutions for daily builds and unit tests.

In 2014, Florin joined TestPlus GmbH as a Software Tester before moving to Jumio Inc. as a Quality Assurance Engineer. At Jumio, their responsibilities included developing automated software tests and creating a fuzzy framework for testing API REST-Interfaces.

Florin's career then shifted towards DevOps engineering. Florin joined Technische Universität Wien in 2016 as a Technical Engineer and later transitioned into a DevOps Engineer role. During their time there, they specialized in infrastructure-as-code using Ansible and Kubernetes, and built centralized components for integrations using Jenkins and other tools.

Most recently, Florin worked at Anyline, starting as a Senior DevOps Engineer and eventually becoming a Value Team Lead / DevOps Engineer. Florin'scontributions at Anyline included integrating new products and technologies, as well as emphasizing the importance of DevOps principles.

Florin Hillebrand obtained a BSc. degree in Computer Engineering from Technische Universität Wien, where they studied from 2009 to 2019. Prior to that, they attended Gewerbeoberschule Max Valier Bozen from 2002 to 2008, where they earned a degree in Industrial Engineering with a focus on Computer Science, qualifying him as a Technical Director.
