Victoria Tsai

Victoria Tsai has a diverse range of work experience, starting with their role as a Software Engineer at Anyscale in 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Meta from 2021 to 2023, where they also held the position of Software Engineer. At Stanford University, they served as a Research Assistant from 2021 to 2021. In 2020, Victoria had internships at both Facebook and Google as a Software Engineering Intern. At Google, they worked on the Jarvis subteam and built an RPC service and client-side logic for a command-line tool. At ThoughtSpot in 2019, they served as a Software Engineering Intern for the Falcon database team, where they designed and wrote a distributed filesystem directory structure. Victoria also gained experience at Stanford University as a Mathematics Grader and a Chinese Language Conversation Partner in 2018. In 2018, they had an internship as a Software Engineering Intern at YugaByte, where they worked on implementing Redis features in the query layer of the distributed database. In 2017, Victoria was a Research Intern at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, where they focused on data manipulation and analysis. Victoria also had a previous internship at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in 2016, where they built a software tool to study the formation of laminar cirrus clouds.

Victoria Tsai completed their education with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Stanford University in the year 2020. Victoria subsequently pursued a Master of Science in Computer Science from the same university, completing it in 2021. In 2019, they briefly studied Mathematics and Russian at the Higher School of Economics. Prior to their higher education, they attended Montgomery Blair High School from 2012 to 2016.
