Lex Lanyon

Lex Lanyon currently serves as Senior Legal Counsel and Senior Legal Manager at APA Group since November 2023. Prior to this role, Lex held multiple positions at Alinta Energy from January 2020 to November 2023, with a focus on legal advice for project energy and energy contracting. Lex's background includes significant involvement in the Young Energy Professionals organization as a committee member from January 2017 to May 2022, and experience as an associate at Grondal Bruining and HFW. Lex has also worked as a secondee at the Australian Energy Market Operator and the Department of Treasury WA, and began a legal career at Allens. Lex holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws with honours from Monash University, achieving a double major in History and Politics.
