Gary T. Clark

Gary T. Clark is the current VP of Investor Relations at Apache Corporation. Gary has over 25 years of experience in the financial industry, with a focus on the energy sector.

Clark began their career in 1992 as a Treasury Analyst at Apache Corporation. In this role, they were responsible for cash management and forecasting, as well as currency hedging. Gary left Apache Corporation in 1994 to join Stifel, Nicolaus & Company, Inc. as a Senior Research Analyst. In this role, they were responsible for coverage groups including Energy, Consumer Durables, and Business Services.

In 2001, Clark left Stifel to join STRS Ohio as a Senior Securities Analyst. Gary remained in this role until 2005, when they left to join Dynamis Advisors, LLC as a Portfolio Manager. Gary managed an L/S energy sector hedge fund until 2012, when they rejoined Apache Corporation as VP of Investor Relations.

Gary T. Clark graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder with a degree in Business Administration. Gary then went on to earn their certification as a Chartered Financial Analyst from 162977.

They work with P. Anthony Lannie - EVP & General Counsel, W. Mark Meyer - SVP, Energy Technology Strategies, and Eric Vosburgh - VP, Global Geoscience & Portfolio Management. Gary T. Clark reports to John J. Christmann IV, President & CEO.
