Erfan Bayat

Erfan Bayat's work experience begins with an internship at Nargan Engineers and Constructors in 2018. Erfan then worked as a Teaching Assistant at Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic from September 2019 to January 2020. From January 2021 to April 2023, they were a Graduate Research Assistant at The University of British Columbia, where they integrated a metal 3D printer setup, prepared safety documents and user manuals, selected and installed sensors, and developed software for controlling the printing process. During this time, they also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and was responsible for coding and teaching machine learning and deep learning methods in an interdisciplinary course. Starting in April 2023, Erfan will be taking on the role of a Robotic Solution Engineer (RSE) at Apera AI.
